NORA ELISE MARGARETHA DE BRUIJN

We are just a couple months shy of 2 years here in the Netherlands, but the way Nora has blended and blossomed, you'd think she's been here her entire life. New friends, traditions, and adventures keep her busy. Our fierce and fearless girl has grown  into a bright, curious, and endlessly playful spirit—she radiates warmth and laughter wherever she goes. She’s still our wild child, but  she brings real depth, empathy, and spark in everything she does.

It’s hard to believe how much Nora has grown this past year—not just taller (though definitely that too!), but in confidence, and heart. She’s becoming her own little person in the most magical ways, and watching it unfold has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

She laughs easily and often, loves being silly. She sees the fun in every situation, and her happiness is magnetic. She’s all heart. Her connection to the people she loves runs deep. She’s adventurous and full of wonder—always up for a new trip, a new food, a new place to swim, or a new sport to try. She draws, she climbs, she races, she sings. She’s never still for long, and life with her is anything but dull.

We’re so lucky to be hers. To witness her grow, laugh, love, and come into herself more each day is a gift we never take for granted. She’s becoming exactly who she’s meant to be—and it’s even better than we imagined.
